The Page County Forum will be holding a forum that is virtually on the elections that will be in November 20202. Each eligible voter is encouraged to take part in the process taking into consideration that their votes will make it count. There will be panelists during the process.
When it comes to education, it is encouraging to see that students have started to be dropped in their learning institutions. The students while wearing masks are met with teachers and administrators at the entry places of their schools who give them remarks that are inspiring and welcoming through the coverings of their faces. Additionally, the schools have put in place cautionary signs on the walls, arrows for direction on the floors and rooms half-full of people that are masked.
Parents have been envisioning the image of their kids on their first day of school. There were many signs held up in the morning when the children first reported to school with indications of their level of grade and state in a way that is proud that it is their first day of going to school in the year 2020.
It is a sign for the people to be sure, but it should not be taken as a sign of people living in fear or chances that are diminished. It is a sign that is simple of mandated community health precautions for keeping the students, together with teachers ad families safe. It is normal that is new but the guidelines that are new and environments that are altered should not dictate the failure and even the success of learning institutions. This will most likely take place in the case that all the involved parties will pull together.
The obstacle will not only be steady but also challenging, in the case that the last six months had been any indications of what the coming months can hold. Within a few hours of the doors being opened to the new school year, public schools in Page County made an announcement of the second case of Covid-19 which happened one week after the first one was announced. However, there are no incidents that are isolated that seem to have led to the outbreaks.
There is hope that it will stay that way, especially in the case that all people are always vigilant in their efforts of keeping the highly contagious virus at bay specifically now that more people are starting to interact with others. People need to always wear their masks, wash their hands, and maintain social distance at all times.
But in the awkwardness of the environment that is new, people should not forget about the smiles that are now under the masks which were a report given by officials of schools. This is an indication that even though a part of the face of the teachers and school officials are covered they are still taking good care of the children. They are still willing to nurture children properly even during these times that are uncertain.
